1. Place the heater on a flat level surface,
approximately 1 metre from any wall or
other objects such as furniture, curtains,
plants or combustible material, and ensure
that the air intake and outlet are clear of
obstructions.
Note: For most efficient heating, place the
heater on the floor where the air is cooler,
near an outside door, the bottom of a
staircase, or where colder air is most likely
to be entering the room.
2. Insert the plug into a 230-240V power
outlet and turn the power on. The red
power light will illuminate and the screen
will display the ambient room temperature.
3. Press the Standby button to select the
desired operating mode. Press it once to
select the AUTO mode, or twice to select
MANUAL mode.
4. In AUTO mode, use the + and – buttons to
select the desired temperature.
The selected temperature (in degrees
celsius) will flash several times to indicate
that it is set. The screen will then return to
displaying the current room temperature.
The thermostat will continue to vary the
heat output to maintain your selected
temperature.
5. In MANUAL mode, use the + and
– buttons to select the desired heat
setting, from H1 to H5. The selected
setting will flash several times to indicate
that it is set. The screen will then return
to displaying the room temperature. The
heater will operate constantly at the
selected heat level, without monitoring the
room temperature.
6. To switch between operating modes or turn
the heater off, press the standby button.
7. Switch the power off at the power outlet
and unplug the heater when not in use.
