NOTE: Electric Heat Elements are controlled by relays with a delay sequence from the logic board to provide sequencing between elements.
LimitOperation
The temperature limit responds to over-temperature conditions in the air duct. Ifthetemperaturelimittrips, theelectricheaterrelayswill
be de-energized and the fan relay will be energized. Once the limit resets, the control will resume normal operation. Ifthe limit trips four
times during a single call for heat, the control will go into a 1 hour soft lockout. During the soft lockout, the fan relay will respond to
thermostat inputs but the heater relays are disabled. If the control detects a limit trip during the soft lockout, the control will go into ahard
lockout. Once ina hard lockout, the fan relay is locked on and the heater relays are disabled. Turning the power tothe unit off and then on
will clear this state.
