Cleaning the Filter
• Remove the filter from the dust bowl by pulling it
straight out (figure G).
To restore optimum airflow tap filter end cap against a
hard surface to loosen debris
(figure H).
Important Filter Cleaning Notes:
• DO NOT BRUSH.
• DO NOT clean filter media with abrasive materials.
• DO NOT scrub to clean between pleats.
• DO NOT spray water or high pressure air from the
inside to the outside of filter. This
will permanently damage the filter’s ability to stop
dust.
• To replace the filter, place it back into the bowl aligning
the triangle on the filter with the triangle on the bowl
as shown in figure I. Important: For best vacuum
results, make sure filter is fully seated in bowl and
is properly aligned.
• To replace the bowl, place it back onto the handle and
click firmly into position as shown in figure J.
Important: For best vacuum results, empty bowl
after every use. Maximum dust collection will only
be obtained with a clean filter and an empty dust
bowl. If dust begins to fall back out of the product
after it is switched off, this indicates that the bowl is
full and requires emptying.
• Never immerse the product in water. A damp cloth and
soapy water should be used to clean the exterior
(figure K). Always ensure the product is completely
dry before re-use or storing.
