ELECTRIC SHOCK, OR INJURY TO PERSONS,
OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING:
A. Installation work and electrical wiring must be done
by qualified person(s) in accordance with all
applicable codes and standards, including fire-rated
construction.
B. Sufficient air is needed for proper combustion and
exhausting of gases through the flue (chimney) of fuel
burning equipment to prevent back drafting. Follow the
heating equipment manufacturer's guideline and safety
standards such as those published by the National Fire

this fan should not be used with an additional speed
control.
• WARNING: To reduce the risk of shock, disconnect
power before servicing.
• Do not mount over tub or in shower stall enclosure.
To move heated air from one room to another, NuTone
recommends installing the Room-to-Room Fan within six
inches of the ceiling. Installing the fan at this height will
provided more efficient movement of heated air from room
to room.
If the fan is intended to move cooled air from room
to room, install the fan as close as possible to the floor.
