PROGRAMMING USER CODES
Your Installer has programmed into your system a special User Program Code which can be used to not only Arm and Disarm the
system, but also to enter the User Program Mode, where you can program other User Codes. The following explains how you will use
this code to program or erase additional User Codes.
Entering the User Program Mode
1 Enter your User Code, then press A to enter the Function Mode.
2 Answer NO (press F ) until “17” (Activate Program) is displayed, then press YES (E) .
The display will scroll the following: “P” (Program mode); 4 digits identifying software versions; then “UP” (User Program). The
keypad lights will flash while in the User Program Mode.
Programming / Reprogramming a User Code
1 Press A, followed by the the 2 digits of the user number to be programmed ( Example: for User 4, enter 04).
2 Press A, followed by the new User Code. Note: User Codes may be up to 6 digits in length. For User Codes shorter than
6 digits, use
G0 for remaining digits.
3 Press A repeatedly until “UP” is displayed.
4 Press J to save the new User Code. Note: Duplicate Codes are not allowed; therefore a duplicate Code entered in the LCD
Window will erase when
J is pressed. Repeat Steps 1 through 4 for each User Code to be programmed.
Erasing a User Code
To erase a User Code, press A, the 2-digit user number, A followed by G0 until “UP” is displayed, then J.
• Example: Erase User 3’s User Code:

A03 A G0 G0 G0 G0 G0 G0 (“UP” will display) J.
Reviewing a Programmed User Code
To review a User Code, press A, the 2-digit user number and A to step through and review each digit of code.
