Using attachments
Follow previous steps 1-4 but set the
carpet height adjustment knob to the deep
carpet setting.
5 Remove the hose connector from the rear
of the cleaner and push the required
attachment firmly onto the end of the
hose.
• If additional length is required, attach one
or both extension tubes between the
hose and tool.
6 Switch on/off.
IMPORTANT: Never over extend the hose
such that the cleaner is pulled over.
Dust bag condition
To obtain best results from your cleaner
the dustbag needs to be emptied when
necessary, otherwise the airflow and
cleaning power will be reduced. When the
dustbag indicator shows red continuously
and performance deteriorates, first check if
there are any blockages in the accessories
or tubes. If these are clear, it is necessary to
empty the dustbag.
If it is still showing red after emptying the
dust bag and cleaning the filters, check to
see if the hose is blocked.
Emptying the cloth dust bag

1 Unplug power cable from wall socket.
2 Remove the front by pressing the cover
release lever at the top.
3 Remove the dust bag by holding the tab
and pull towards you. Remove carefully
to avoid dust/dirt spilling from dust bag.
4 Hold the dustbag over a dustbin and
slide the clip from the bottom of the bag
and tip the contents of the bag carefully
into the bin. Shake the bag vigorously to
remove excess dust.
5 Slide the clip back onto the bottom of the
dustbag and replace the dustbag. Push
the dustbag fully back into position.
Note: the front panel will not close unless
the dustbag is correctly fitted.
6 Once the dust bag is in place, replace the
front panel by aligning the bottom locking
tabs with the slots in the body, close
cover slowly allowing the front panel to
snap in place. The latch will self lock.
IMPORTANT: To maintain performance we
recommend that the reusable bag is hand
washed regularly in warm water. Do not use
detergents as these could affect
performance. Allow to dry naturally as direct
heat may effect the material. A spare bag is
provided for use while washing the other
bag.
IMPORTANT: Ensure the dustbag is
totally dry before refitting it into the cleaner.
