Safety cut out
(brush-bar motor)
If a large item or rug edge jams
the brush-bar, a safety cut-out
will operate. If this happens,
switch off and unplug before
cleaning the blockage. Wait 1
minute before switching back
on.
Blockages
If the performance has
deteriorated, there may be a
blockage. Check the hose and
tools. Check the dust canister
inlet.
Check the floor nozzle hose Ó.
The upper end of the floor
nozzle hose may be
disconnected for inspection by
squeezing the release clips and
pulling down O. Clear any
blockages and refit securely
before re-use. Make sure the
clips are fully clipped back into
place.
Cleaning and
maintenance
Unplug from the mains before
cleaning. The vacuum cleaner,
especially the dust compartment
and all accessories, can be
cleaned using a damp cloth or a
non-abrasive cleaner and wiped
dry.
