CLEARANCES and HEIGHT REQUIREMENTS
Ensure that minimum clearances shown in Figure 5 are maintained. Left and right clearances are deter-
mined when facing the front of the firebox.
Follow these instructions carefully to ensure safe installation. Failure to follow these requirements may
create a fire hazard.
1. Sidewall Clearances — The clearance from the inside of the appliance to any combustible adjacent
wall should not be less than 9". Figure 5
2. Ceiling Clearance — The ceiling must be at least 42" from the top of the firebox opening. Figure 5
3. Back Wall Clearance — The appliance may be placed against a combustible back wall.
