2. Remove the fi lter holders, with the air-cleaning fi lter installed in the folders, from the
air-conditioner.
3. Remove the allergen clear fi lter (Light orange) from fi lter holder and inspect the
fi lter. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove any dust or dirt from the allergen clear fi lter.
Replace the allergen clear fi lter if it cannot be cleaned or if it has been for about
1 year.
(The allergen clear fi lter should be replaced after about 1 year of use. However, the
actual replacement period may vary depending on the conditions in which the fi lter
is used.)
Remove the photocatalytic washable deodorizing fi lter (orange) from the fi lter holder
and inspect the fi lter. Periodically, remove any dust or dirt from the photocatalytic
washable deodorizing fi lter. If the photocatalytic washable deodorizing fi lter is
particularly dirty, it may be washed with water. However, the fi lter is fragile so be sure
to wash it installed in the fi lter holder to avoid damaging it. After washing the fi lter,
place it in sunlight to dry. Placing the fi lter in sunlight revitalizes the deodorizing effect.
(Do not dispose of the fi lter holders. They are reusable. )
4. Install the air-cleaning fi lter in the fi lter holders, and then install the fi lter
holders in the air-conditioner.
5. Install the air fi lters and close the air inlet panel.
