Replacing Exhaust Filter
Used to lter exhaust air from the appliance. The appliance must not be used if
there is no exhaust lter tted.
• Remove the exhaust lter (25) by pressing down the release button and pulling
the lter out.
• Remove the lter (26) pad, replace or clean as described under Cleaning below.
• Replace the lter in its holder.
• Fit the lter holder in the exhaust port (4). Check the small lugs t into the holes
in the appliance and that it locks into place with a click.
Replacing Dust Bag
• Pull the dust bag holder (12) out of the
appliance (if the bag has been used).
• Replace the bag if full.
• Fit new bag in holder, ensuring it is
locked into place by the lugs.
• Fit dust bag holder in appliance (see
picture).
Replacing Dust Holder
• Grip the handle (22) and pull the holder
out of the appliance if it has been used
(see picture I).
• Remove the lid carefully (20) by ipping
the lock tab up (see picture II).
• Empty the holder.
• Remove the HEPA lter by turning anti-
clockwise (see picture III).
• Clean or replace the HEPA lter if
necessary (see section on Cleaning
below).
• Clean the lter funnel (21) inside the
dust holder lid behind the HEPA lter.
• Fit the HEPA lter in the holder lid and
turn clockwise until locked.
• Replace lid on the holder and check
the lick dowel clicks into place.
• Replace the holder in the appliance.
STORAGE
• Berfore storing the appliance, reel the cord into the appliance using the cord reel
button (18) to avoid bending the cord or damaging it during storage.
• Hold the plug rmly while reeling the cord in to avoid it hitting the appliance or
other nearby objects.
• Store in a cool dry place. Do not place heavy objects on top of the appliance.
• You can park the oor nozzle in one of the parking brackets (on the back and
underside of the appliance).
• NOTE: Remove the batteries from the handle if the appliance is to be stored for
an extended period.
CLEANING
• Clean the appliance by wiping it with a damp cloth.
• Do not use any form of solvent, or strong or abrasive cleaning agent.
• Keep all lters clean (see sections on Replacing Exhaust Filter, Replacing Dust
Holder and Replacing Motor Filter).
o Shake the exhaust lter, funnel, HEPA lter and lter pad on motor lter and beat
them carefully to remove dust and dirt.
o Exhaust lter, funnel, HEPA lter and lter pad on motor lter can be washed
carefully in warm water.
o Check they are completely dry before replacing in the appliance. NEVER insert a
wet lter into the appliance.
o Replace exhaust lter, HEPA lter and motor lter pad with the same type when
worn or cannot be cleaned properly.

• if the above instructions are not followed
• if the appliance has been interfered with
• if the appliance has been mishandled, subjected to rough treatment, or has
suffered any other form of damage
• if faults have arisen because of faults in your electricity supply.
