Faucet Cartridge Cleaning or Replacement
- The cartridge in the faucet may require periodic removal for cleaning or replacement.
- Servicing requires an adjustable wrench.
- Push the back of the Laminar spout assembly forward to slide it out of the front of the mirror. To avoid damage to
the mirror be careful not to push the spout completely out of the mirror without supporting it as it slides forward.
- Useanadjustablewrenchtoloosenthetwohalvesofthe spout assembly. Place wrench on rear part of the
assembly, hold onto the knurl on the front housing, and turn counterclockwise. Do not disconnect the water line
on the back of the spout assembly. A small amount of water will still be in the hose and cartridge area.
- Remove the old cartridge and discard. Replace with a new Kohler cartridge.
- Re-assemblethespoutbody.Makesurethereisnogapbetweenthefrontandrearhousings.
- Re-install the spout in the mirror by sliding the spout a ssembly back through the mounting hole until it rests
tightly against the mirror. Be careful not to hit the mirror with any metal objects.
- Close the door while making sure the hoses do not kink when they are tucked into the lower compartment.

Kohler plumbing fixtures and fittings are warranted free of manufacturing defects.
Kohler Co. or Kohler Ltd. will, at its election, repair, replace, or make appropriate adjustment where Kohler Co. or
Kohler Ltd. inspection discloses any such defects occurring in normal usage within one year after installation.
Kohler Co. and Kohler Ltd. are not responsible for installation or removal costs.
