FULL ONE YEARWARRANTY ON WATER HEATER
Forone year from the date of purchase, when your SearsKenmore water heater is installed and operated in a single-family
residencein accordancewith the instructions in this manual, Searswill:
1. Repair defectsin material or workmanship in this waterheater, free of chaxge.
2. Furnish and installa new current model water heater of equal capacityand quality, freeof charge, ifa leakoccursin the
tank.
LIMITED WARRANTY ON TANKS THAT LEAK
After one year and through 5 years from the date of purchase for water heaters used in a single-family residence, ifa leak
occurs in the tank, Sears will furnish a new current model water heater of equal capacity and quality. You will be charged
for any installation.
If the water heater is subjected to commercial, institutional, industrial or use in residences of two families or more, the
above warranty coverage for tanks that leak iseffective for 2 years from the date of purchase.

product is in use in the United States."

Sears Installation Policy
Allinstallationlaborarranged bySearsshall be performedin a neat,work-
manlike manner in accordancewith generally accepted trade practices.
Further,all installationsshall complywith all local laws,codes regulations
and ordinances.The customer shall alsobe protected, during installation,
by insurance relating to property damage, Worker's Compensation and
PublicLiability.
