Set the stitch length control at 6.
Set the top thread tension control at 1 - 2
to facilitate pulling out bobbin thread.
Insert pins at right angles to the seam line,
with the tip of pins just touching the seam
line.
NOTE: Pins must not come in contact with
the feed dogs. Never pin on the
underside of the fabric.

4. Sew over the tip of pins slowly.
NOTE: If in doubt about sewing over pins,
remove each pin as you approach
it.

Sew one or as many rows of parallel
stitches as required, but do not backtack
at the begginings and ends of the rows.
Remove the fabric and draw up the bobbin
thread to gather the fabric to the required
length or fullness.
