Tool compartment and vehicle tool

! A tool compartment is under the
unit cover. It contains the tools
required to perform maintenance
work.

! Turn square bar by 90° with tool
provided in the vehicle tool set.
! Fold up seat until seat hinge lock
engages.
Tilt the seat back
! Lift seat hinge lock and fold back
seat.
! Turn square bar by 90° with tool
provided in the vehicle tool set.
Safety instructions for the battery
♦ Observe the operating instructions.
♦ Work on batteries is permitted only
after instruction by trained
personnel.
♦ Wear safety goggles and protective
clothing.
♦ Observe the instructions for the
prevention of accidents as well as
DIN VDE 0510, VDE 0105 T.1 .
Risk of fire and explosion!
♦ Smoking prohibited.
♦ No naked flames, glowing embers
or sparks in the vicinity of batteries.
Danger of acid burns!
♦ If acid sprays in the eyes or on the
skin, rinse out- or off with a lot of
clear water.
♦ Then consult a doctor immediately.
♦ Wash contaminated clothing with
water.
Risk of explosion and fire!
♦ Do not place any objects or tools
on the battery because voltage is
always present between the battery
poles.
♦ Areas in which batteries are
charged must be well ventilated, as
highly explosive gas forms during
charging.
♦ Old batteries with this symbol are
reusable commodities and must
therefore be returned for recycling.
♦ Old batteries which are not
returned for recycling must be
disposed of as special waste,
thereby observing all statutory
regulations.
Commission the battery
Always heed safety precautions for
handling batteries!
! Unscrew cellular seals.
! Fill up battery chamber with
enclosed battery acid up to MAX.
! Refill battery acid as necessary.
! Screw in cellular seals.
