LIMITED FIVE-YEAR WARRANTY
York International, Unitary Products Group (UPG) warrants this product
to be free from defects in the workmanship or materials, under normal
use and service, for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase
by the consumer. If, at any time during the warranty period, the product
is defective or malfunctions, UPG shall repair or replace it (at UPG’s
option) within a reasonable period of time.
If you have a problem,
First consult the “Before You Call For Service” section in your Owner’s
Guide to see if the problem can be easily corrected. If you decide that
you require further assistance, please contact the dealer where you
purchased it.
Then if you do not have a dealer as above, the Unitary Products Group
Consumer Relations Department (877-874-7378) can assist you in
identifying qualified dealers in your area.
This warranty applies to all parts or components of your Total Comfort
System Electronic Air Cleaner, except the ionizer wires in the air cleaner
cells and the aluminum prefilters.
This warranty does not apply to:
1. Any labor cost(s) of removing or reinstalling replacement part(s) or
unit or repair to a defective part.
2. Any defect or malfuntion that was caused by damage due to misuse,
improper handling or normal wear, which occurred while the product
was in the possession of a consumer.
3. Aluminum prefilters and ionizer wires, as these parts are subject to
natural wear with the use of the product. (See the section on
prefilters and ionizer wires in “Before You Call For Service” in your
Owner’s Guide.)
UPG’s sole responsibility shall be to repair or replace the product within
the terms stated above. UPG SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF
THIS WARRANTY, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, OR ANY OTHER
FAILURE OF THIS PRODUCT. Some provinces and territories do not
allow limitations on the duration of an implied warranty, so this limitation
may not apply to you.
