PRE‐ASSEMBLYOFMAINDUCT
1. Determineiftheductistobeextendedtotherightof
theunitortotheleft.Installtheendcapontheside
opposingthe extension.Seefigurebelow. Ifdesired
theendcapmaybesealedwithpartofthefoamtape
providedwiththekit.This
isrecommendedtoreduce
possibleleakage.
2. SETAIRDISTRIBUTION:Theductisfactorypresetfor
80% main room and 20% adjacent room air
distribution. Installthe VolumeBaffleprovided fora
60/40airdistribution.
3. To install the Volume Baffle, position the baffle
throughtheopenendoftheMainDuct(1)andalign
withholesintopofduct.Installtwooftheprovided
No.8screwsthroughtheholesandintothebaffle(2)
INSTALLATIONOFMAINDUCTKIT
1. Place the Main Duct atopthe Mounting Brackets as
shownbelow(1).Install4No.8screwstosecurethe
duct to the Mounting Brackets (2). Do not fully
tighten.
2. IMPORTANT! See figure below for duct position on
brackets.Shiftrightorleftbasedonyourinstallation
andfinaltightenthescrewsonbottom.
3. Re‐installthePTACchassisandfrontcover.
NOTE: Access to the control panel and view of the
controlswillberestrictedoncethemainductisinstalled.
Thecover willnot openfully orstayopen byitself. Itis
suggestedthataremotewiredorwirelessthermostatbe
usedforconvenience.
