Cleaning the Air Purifier
Your air purifier is designed to provide years of trouble-free service with
minimal maintenance. The following instructions will help you maximize the life
and efficiency of your air purifier.

To reduce risk of electric shock:
• Always unplug before cleaning.
• Do not immerse in water or other liquid.
Cleaning and caring for the air purifier
NOTE: It is important to replace the
HEPA filter once a year and to clean
front panel regularly.
The HEPA filter should last approxi-
mately 6 months with continuous use,
less in areas with a high level
of airborne particles such as dust,
pollen, mold and mildew spores, pet
dander and smoke.
To replace the HEPA filter:
1. Turn off and unplug air purifier.
Remove magnetic front cover to
access filter. Remove the used HEPA
filter by gripping the sides and pulling
outward. Discard the used filter. It
cannot be cleaned.
2. Obtain a replacement HEPA filter.
Insert the unwrapped HEPA filter into
the air purifier. Position the airflow
arrow (located on the filter) pointing
into the unit.
NOTE: Improper filter installation will
result in poor air filtration.
3. Replace magnetic front cover.
To clean the air purifier:
• Wipe enclosure, control panel, and
cord with a damp cloth or sponge.
• The front panel can be removed
and washed in warm, soapy water.
Do not place in dishwasher. Make
sure the panel is completely dry
before reinstalling.
• The outlet grille on the back of the
unit should simply be dusted.
• No part of the air purifier should be
placed in a dishwasher.
