INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

use. Life span depends on the type of fuels burnt and the
level of use.

•Pullbaseofsidebricktowardscentreofstove
•Removebrick
•Repeatwithotherside
•Replaceinreverseorder
4. FITTING & REMOVAL OF BAFFLE
(BRUNEL 1A ONLY)
4.1 The appliance is fitted with a baffle in the top of the firebox
to maintain efficient combustion.
4.2 Allow the appliance to cool fully before removing baffle
system.
4.3 Remove the Log Guard from the appliance to give access to
the firebox.
4.4 To remove baffle:
•LiftBaffleandpullasfarforwardaspossible
•Removesidebrick,seeabove
•Removebaffle
•Replaceinreverseorder
4.5 Remove and clean the Baffle System to clear the flue ways
of soot and debris . This ensures the safe, efficient operation
of the appliance. The frequency of cleaning will depend on
the stove operating conditions.
4.6 Replace any damaged baffles immediately.
4.7 Do not modify the baffle system.
5. FITTING AND REMOVAL OF
THE RIDDLING MECHANISM (Multi-fuel only)
5.1 The Riddling Mechanism can be removed for cleaning to
maintain good working condition.
To remove Riddling Mechanism:
•RemovetheLogGuardfromtheappliancetogiveaccess
to the firebox
