(11) seats requires a FAR Part 23 nine (9) passenger limit waiver from the
Department of Civil Aviation of the country in which the aircraft is to be oper-
ated. Maximum seating with a FAR Part 23 nine passenger limit waiver is
fourteen (14).
Note: In accordance with FAR 91.223 turbine-powered U.S. registered air-
planes configured with six or more passenger seats, excluding any pilot
seat, must be equipped with an approved terrain awareness and warning
system that as a minimum meets the requirements for Class B equipment
in Technical Standard Order (TSO)-C151.
Note: In accordance with FAR 135.154 (2) turbine-powered airplanes configured
with 6 to 9 passenger seats, excluding any pilot seat must be equipped with an
approved terrain awareness and warning system that meets as a minimum the
requirements for Class B equipment in Technical Standard Order (TSO)-C151.
