NOTE: Turn off the switch and unplug the electrical cord before servicing.
PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
Motor will not start. Electric Plug
q Push plug securely into outlet.
q Try another outlet.

q Clean or replace the lters. Hint: If picking up
ne dust, the lters may not look dirty but a
ne substance tends to reduce suction when it
blocks the airow through the lter(s). Page 5.
q Replace the dust bag with a new dust bag.

q Be sure the dust bag is properly seated into the
cleaner body. Page 6.
q Be sure hose adapter is secure on back of
cleaner. Page 8.
q Remove any blockages from the hose that
restricts the airow. Page 8.
q Check to see that the end of the hose is rmly
pressed into the hose retainer in the hood of
the vacuum.
q Check base hose and long hose. Page 8.
q Replace a broken, cut, loose or out of shape
belt.
q Clean hair and thread from bristles and end
cap area. Replace brush roll if bristles are worn.
