POSSIBLE CAUSE

furniture polish, wax, carpet
cleaner, etc., may turn into
white powder residue
REMEDY
1. Check burner for dirt and de-
bris. If found, clean burner (see
Cleaning and Maintenance,
page 14)
2. Contact local natural or pro-
pane/LP gas company
3. Replace gas regulator
1. Problem will stop after a few
hours of operation

Turn control knob to lowest
position and let warm up for a
minute
2. Operate burner until air is
removed from line. Have gas
checked by local natural or
propane/LP gas company
3.
Observe minimum installation
clearances (see Figure 4, page 8)
4. Clean burner (see Cleaning
and Maintenance, page 14) or
replace burner orice
1. This is normal with most heat-
ers. If noise is excessive, con-
tact qualied service person
1. Turn heater off when using
furniture polish, wax, carpet
