SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
•Thisproductshouldbegrounded.Intheeventofanelectricalshortcircuit,groundingreduces
theriskofelectricshockbyprovidinganescaperoute(wire)fortheelectriccurrent.This
productisequippedwithacordconsistingofagroundingwirewithagroundingplug.The
plug must be plugged into an outlet that is properly installed and grounded.
Ifitisnecessarytouseanextensioncord,useonlyathreewireextensioncordwithathree-
bladegroundingplug,andathree-slotreceptaclethatwillaccepttheplugoftheproduct.
Replace or repair a damaged cord immediately.
•Iftherepairorreplacementofthecordorplugisnecessary,donotconnectthegrounding
wire to either flat blade terminal. The insulation wire with an outer green surface with or
without yellow stripes is the grounding wire.
•Checkwithaqualifiedelectricianorservicetechnicianifyoudonotunderstandthegrounding
instructions completely, or if in you are in doubt whether the product is properly grounded.
•Thisproductisforuseonanominal120Vcircuit,andhasa
grounding plug that looks like the plug illustrated in Figure 1.
