With the presser closing lever (1) pushed all the way by hand in the direction of the arrow in the illustration,
loosen the nut (2) and move the presser closing roller (3) so that the gap is 0.3 - 0.5 mm when the work clamp
is closed while the sewing machine is in operation.
* As the presser closing roller (3) is brought closer to the presser closing lever (1), the gap of the work clamp
is narrowed. Note, however that if the presser closing roller (3) is moved closer than necessary, the
operation of the presser closing lever (1) may be impaired.

By loosening the nut (6) and turning the stop lever adjusting screw (7), adjust the stop lever (4) so that it
separates from the stop position adjusting plate (5) when the work clamp is elevated 8 - 9 mm above the
surface of the needle plate.
3. Loosen the nut (8) and move the work clamp so that the closing distance becomes 3 - 4 mm when the work
clamp is in the lowered position. Then, push the nut (8) all the way in the direction indicated by the arrow, and
tighten it.
