12 VOLT ELECTRIC STARTER KITS**
12 volt electric starters are intended for use above -20°
F. For engines with a STEEL ring gear on ywheel, use
394952 (illustrated) which includes a new ywheel (inset)
and ALUMINUM ring gear, less charging magnets.

ring gear already mounted on ywheel.
Note: Kit No. 394953 may be used on engines for all type
nos. in model series 170400, 170700*, 171700*,
190000, 220000 and 250000.
*Kits cannot be used on vertical shaft models with
2 quart fuel tank welded to blower housing.
