OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Setfanonadry,levelsurface.
2. Pull the retractable cord until it has reached your
desired length. Push the retract “
” button to
shorten the length of the cord. Please note that
when pulling the cord out you will feel the
resistanceonceithasreacheditsmaximum
lengthof1.8meters(6feet).Donotextendthe
cordbeyonditsmaximumlength.
3. Plug power cord into the appropriate outlet.
4. Toturnthefanon:
A.(ModelBAFE1407)Thefanwillbeep
indicating it is on. Press the power button “
”
tostartthefan.Thespeedlightofthelast
selection will light up as long as the fan
remains plugged in. If the fan is unplugged
and plugged back in, it will automatically reset
to speed 1.
B. (Model BAFM1403) Press the power button
“
”tostartthefan.Thefanwillonlystartif
one of the speed buttons has already been
selected. If no speed has been selected, push
your desired selection to start the fan.
5. Selecting the speed:
A.(ModelBAFE1407)Thespeedisadjustedby
pushing the speed button “
” to cycle the
speedmodeintothreespeedlevels:Speed1,
Speed 2 or Speed 3.
B. (Model BAFM1403) Push buttons 1, 2 or 3 to
select your desired speed.
6. If you would like to program the timer:
A. (Model BAFE1407) Press the timer button “
”
to select the following timer settings: 1 hour, 2
hours, 4 hours, 8 hours or timer off (all lights
off).
B.(ModelBAFM1403)Turntheknobtothe
desired time setting: 20 minutes, 40 minutes,
60 minutes, 80 minutes, 100 minutes, 120
minutes.
Thefanwillautomaticallyturnoffoncetheset
time is reached.
7. Tooscillatethefanfrontgrill,pushtheoscillation
button “
”toturniton.Tostoptheoscillation,
push the oscillation button “ ” again to turn it
off.
8. (Model BAFE1407 only) Once the fan is on and
youhaveselectedthedesiredspeed,youcan
selectbreezemodeifyouwouldlikethefanto
mimicnaturalbreeze.Toselectthismode,push
thebreeze&sleepbuttonselectingbreezemode
“
”.
9. (ModelBAFE1407only)Toselectsleepmode,
turn the fan on and select the desired speed
thenpushthebreeze&sleepbuttontoselect
the sleep mode “
”. It cycles through the speed
settings in order.
AROMA DIFFUSER FUNCTION
10. If you would like to use the aroma diffuser
function along with the fan, follow these
instructionstoinsertthescentedoilbottle(NOT
INCLUDEDWITHTHEPRODUCT).
A. Lift the scented oil bottle compartment cap
up (Figure 1).
B. Insert the neck of the scented oil bottle with
opening facing up onto the self-adjusting
clip of the scented oil bottle compartment
until it locks into place
(Figure 2).
Note:Thebottlecompartmenthasaself-
adjusting clip that will accept refill bottles for
all major brands of scented oil.
C. Close scented oil bottle compartment cap
(Figure 3).
11. Press the aroma diffuser button “
” to turn this
functiononoroff.Thisfunctionwillcycleoff
alongwiththefan.Thefanwillrecallthelast
settingusedforthearomadiffuser.Thenumber
of hours each scented oil bottle refill will work
shouldvarybybrand(pleaserefertothe
specificationsofeachbrandmanufacturer).The
scentedoilwillbedepletedovertime.Replace
the bottle when needed. Once you are done
using this function, follow the instructions listed
onStep7makingsuretoremovetheused
scented oil bottle refill first before you place a
newonetobeusedthenexttimeyouwishto
use this function.
12.YourAromaDiffuserFanalsoallowsyouto
adjusttheintensityofthearomadiffusion.To
selectthedesiredsetting,movetheAroma
DiffuserIntensityLevertotherighttoincrease
the intensity or to the left to decrease it.

MODE D’EMPLOI
1. Placerleventilateursurunesurfacesècheetà
niveau.
2.Tirerlecordonescamotablejusqu’àcequela
longueur désirée soit atteinte. Pousser sur le
bouton «
» rentrer pour raccourcir la longueur
du cordon. Noter que quand on tire sur le
cordon, on sent une résistance quand on atteint
lalongueurmaximalede1,8m.(6pieds).Ne
pastirerlecordonau-delàdesalongueur
maximale.
3. Brancher le cordon d’alimentation dans une prise
adéquate.
4. Pourmettreleventilateurenmarche:
A. (ModèleBAFE1407)Leventilateurémettra
un bip pour indiquer qu’il est en marche.
Appuyer sur le bouton «
» pour mettre le
ventilateurenroute.Lalumièredevitesse
de la dernière sélection s’allume quand
leventilateurdemeurebranché.Sile
ventilateurestdébranchépuisrebranché,il
seremettraautomatiquementàlavitesse1.
B. (Modèle BAFM1403) Appuyer sur le bouton
«
»pourmettreleventilateurenroute.Le
ventilateurnesemettraenroutequesiles
boutonsdevitesseontdéjàétésélectionnés.
Siaucunevitessen’aétésélectionnée,
pousser sur la sélection désirée pour mettre
leventilateurenroute.
5. Sélectiondelavitesse:
A. (Modèle BAFE1407) On peut régler la
vitesseenpoussantsurleboutondevitesse
«
»pourutilisertroisniveauxdevitesse,
Vitesse1,Vitesse2ouVitesse3.
B. (Modèle BAFM1403). Pousser les boutons 1,
2ou3pourchoisirlavitessedésirée.
6. Si on désire programmer la minuterie :
A. (Modèle BAFE1407) Appuyer sur le bouton
de minuterie «
» pour choisir les réglages
deminuteriesuivants:1heure,2heures,
4 heures, 8 heures ou minuterie arrêtée
(toutes les lumières éteintes).
B. (ModèleBAFM1403)Tournerlebouton
au réglage de temps désiré : 20 minutes,
40 minutes, 60 minutes, 80 minutes, 100
minutes, 120 minutes.
LeVentilateurs’arrêteraautomatiquementquand
la durée choisie a été atteinte.
7. Pourfaireoscillerlagrillededevantdu
ventilateur,enfoncerleboutonoscillation«
»
pour le mettre en route. Pour arrêter l’oscillation,
appuyer encore sur le bouton oscillation pour
l’éteindre.
8. (ModèleBAFE1407uniquement)Unefoisquele
ventilateurestenrouteetquel’onachoisila
vitessedésirée,onpeutchoisirlemodebrisesi
onveutqueleventilateurimiteunebrise
naturelle. Pour choisir ce mode, pousser le
bouton brise & sommeil en choisissant le mode
brise «
».
9. (Modèle BAFE1407 uniquement) Pour choisir le
modesommeil,mettreleventilateurenrouteet
choisirlavitessedésiréepuispousserlebouton
brise & sommeil pour choisir le mode sommeil
«
».Ilvacirculeralternativemententreles
vitessesdansl’ordre.
FONCTION DIFFUSEUR D’ARÔME
10. Si on désire utiliser la fonction diffuseur d’arôme
avecleventilateur,suivrecesinstructionspour
insérer la bouteille d’huile aromatique (NON
COMPRISEAVECLEPRODUIT).
A. Souleverlecapuchonducompartimentdela
bouteille d’huile aromatique (Figure 1).
B. Insérer le cou de la bouteille d’huile
aromatiqueavecl’ouverturetournée
verslehautdanslapinceautoréglable
du compartiment de la bouteille d’huile
aromatiquejusqu’àcequ’ellesoitfixéeen
place. (Figure 2)
  Remarque:Lecompartimentdelabouteille
possède une pince autoréglable qui accepte
les bouteilles de la plupart des marques
principales d’huile aromatique.
C. Fermer le capuchon du compartiment de la
bouteille d’huile aromatique (Figure 3).
11. Pousser le bouton du diffuseur d’arôme«
» pour
mettre en route cette fonction ou pour l’arrêter.
Cettefonctions’arrêteavecleventilateur.Le
ventilateurserappelleraledernierréglageutilisé
pour le diffuseur d’arôme. Le nombre d’heures
fourni par chaque bouteille d’huile aromatique
dépenddelamarque(voirlesspécificationsde
chaquefabricant).Éventuellement,l’huile
aromatiques’épuisera.Replacerlabouteille
quandnécessaire.Unefoisqu’onafinid’utiliser
