and maintenance of your AM-80 Air Purifier. We urge you to read this publication
carefully and to follow the recommendations to help assure the most enjoyable and
trouble free operation of your Amcor unit. When it comes to service, remember
that Amcor knows its product best.
Please do not attempt to open, repair and/or clean any of the internal parts of the

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for choosing an Amcor product,
and to assure you of our continuing interest in your comfort, pleasure and health.
Safety
The AM-80 Air Purifier is safe. It is listed by UL and it has been designed
with special attention to safety. However, as with other electrical appliances,
use it with care.
Do not clean the AM-80 Air Purifier by spraying it or immersing it in water.
Do not insert any object into the openings of the AM-80 Air Purifier.
Disconnect the product from the electrical outlet before cleaning the unit
or any of its components.
Do not connect the AM-80 Air Purifier to an electric outlet using an
extension cord. If there is no accessible outlet, a licensed electrician should
install one.
A slight sensation may be felt if the carbon filament ionizing element
(the carbon cord on the front air outlet) is touched. This is normal and presents
no danger. This sensation may also be felt if you touch a person or a large metal
object while your other hand is on the unit.
WHEN NOT IN USE STORE OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN!
Do not operate this unit if an oxygen tent or similar concentrated
oxygen generating device is present in the room, or in a work area with
bottled gases. However, the unit is safe to operate near a well-maintained
gas stove.
Warning
Any service, other than regular cleaning, filter replacement or scent clip replacement,
should be performed by an authorized service representative.
Failure to do so could result in loss of warranty.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, this equipment has a polarized plug
(one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only
one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still
does not fit, contact qualified personnel to install the proper outlet.
Do not alter the plug in any way.
If the supply cord becomes damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer
or its service agent or similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
A Word to AM-80 Air Purifier Owners

(Dispose of this entire assembly including the old Pre-filter).
5. Install the new HEPA filter by inserting bottom edge first and align into place.
6. Replace the filter cover, bottom edge first, and snap into place (fig. 5).
