WALLMOUNTING VM10/20 LOUDSPEAKERS
TheVM Cradle/Wall Mount Bracketenables you to set the angle of your speakerover
awide range of adjustment because of the steep andshallow angles of the bracket's
twofaces and the pivot knuckle assemblies.

• Remove the pivot knuckle assemblies from the cradle.
• Replace the 10mm long bolts with 19mm (3/4") long1/4"- 20UNC bolts. These bolts
shouldgo through the back of the bracket, through thepivot knuckle and into the
insertslocated in the back of the VM10/VM20 enclosure.
• Set the angle of the speaker by moving thepivot knuckles, then tighten the bolts
securely.Do not over-tighten.
Importantnote: Once the speaker is mounted on the wall,the speaker
anglecannot be adjusted.
• Hang the wall mount bracket, with the speaker attached,on the wall screws.
• Attach the Polk Audio grille badge. It’sorientationchanges depending on whether
youare using the loudspeaker as a center channel oras a vertically mounted L/R.
INSTALLATIONMURALE DES ENCEINTES VM10 ETVM20
Le support mural/berceau VM vous permet d’orienter les enceintes selon
vos préférences grâce à son système de jointures pivotantes polyvalent.

• Retirez les jointures pivotantes du berceau.
• Remplacez les boulons de 10mm par les boulons (1/4"-20UNC) de 19mm.
Cesboulons doivent franchir l’arrière du support et les jointurespivotantes
etse visser dans les inserts situés à l’arrière del’enceinte VM10 ou VM20.
• Ajustez l’angle de l’enceinte en la pivotant sur sesjointures et serrez
fermementles boulons. Ne les serrez pas trop.
Noteimportante: Une fois l’enceinte installée au mur,son angle ne peut
plusêtre ajusté.
• Installez l’enceinte et son support au mur en enclenchantle support sur les vis.
• Fixez l’écusson Polk Audio sur la grille de l’enceinte.Son orientation dépend
dela position de l’enceinte–à l’horizontale pour le canal centralou à la verticale
pourles canaux gauche et droit.
MONTAJEDE LOS ALTAVOCES VM10 Y VM20 EN LAPARED
La base/soporte de montaje en la pared VM permite orientar el altavoz en una amplia
gama de direcciones gracias a las articulaciones y la cara alta o la cara baja del soporte.

• Quite las articulaciones de la base.
• Cambie los pernos UNC 1/4"-20 de 10 mm de largopor pernos UNC 1/4"- 20 de
19mm de largo (3/4"). Estos pernos deben pasar através del soporte y la articulación
yatornillarse en los insertos ubicados en la parte deatrás de la caja del VM10 o VM20.
• Oriente el altavoz moviendo las articulaciones, luego apriete lospernos firmemente.
Noapriete en exceso.
Notaimportante: Una vez que el altavoz esté montado enla pared, no se le puede
ajustarel ángulo.
• Por medio del soporte de montaje en la pared,cuelgue el altavoz en los tornillos que
hayen la pared.
• Fije la insignia de rejilla de Polk Audio. Su orientacióncambia dependiendo de que
elaltavoz sea de canal central o de canal izquierdoo derecho montado verticalmente.

• Entfernen Sie die Drehzapfen aus der Halterung.
• Ersetzen Sie die 10 mm langen Schrauben mit 19mm langen 1/4"-Zoll-20 UNC-
Schrauben.Diese Schrauben reichen durch die Rückseite der Halterung,durch
denDrehzapfen und in die Löcher in der Rückseite desVM10/VM20-Gehäuses.
• VerstellenSie den Winkel des Lautsprechers, indemSie die Drehzapfen bewegen
unddrehen Sie dann die Schrauben fest. Ziehen Sie sienicht zu fest an.
WichtigerHinweis: Sobald der Lautsprecher an der Wandmontiert befestigt
ist,kann der Lautsprecherwinkel nicht mehr verändert werden.
• Hängen Sie die Wandbefestigung,mit dem angebrachten Lautsprecher,auf
dieWandschrauben.
• Bringen Sie das Polk Audio-Grill-Abzeichen an. Dessen Ausrichtung ändertsich,
jenachdem, ob Sie den Lautsprecher als Center-Lautsprecheroderals vertikal
montiertenL/R-Lautsprecher verwenden.
FISSAGGIOA PARETEDEI DIFFUSORIVM10/20
Lastaffa VM permette di regolare l’angolazione del diffusore suun ampio intervallo
graziealle curvature della staffa stessa e alle cerniere.

• Togliere le cernieredalla base.
• Sostituire le viti da 10 mm con viti da 1/4"-20 UNC lunghe 19 mm, inserendo queste
ultimeattraverso la parte posteriore della staffa, le cerniere enei tasselli situati sulla
parteposteriore della cassa VM10/VM20.
• Regolare l’angolazione del diffusore mediante le cerniere e quindiserrare bene le viti;
nonserrarle eccessivamente.
NotaBene: una volta fissato il diffusore alla parete, lasua angolazione è fissa.
• Appendere la staffa, a cui si è fissato il diffusore,alle viti sulla parete.
• Fissare il logotipo Polk Audio alla griglia; il suoorientamento dipende dalla modalità
d'usodel diffusore-per il canale centrale o collocato in verticaleper il canale sx/dx.
INSTALAÇÃODAS CAIXAS ACUSTICAS VM10/20 NA PAREDE
Osângulos profundos e rasos dos dois lados e dasjunções pivotantes da base/suporte
paraparede do modelo VM permitem o amplo ajuste doângulo da caixa acústica.

• Retire as junções pivotantes da base.
• Troque os parafusosde 10mm de comprimento por parafusos UNC de 1/4"-20
de19mm (3/4" pol.) de comprimento. Os parafusos devem serinseridos através
daparte traseira do suporte e da junção pivotante erosqueados nos orifícios
localizadosna parte traseira da VM10/VM20.
• Ajuste o ângulo da caixa acústica movendo as junçõespivotantes e depois
apertecom firmeza os parafusos. Não aperte demasiadamente.
Observaçãoimportante: O ângulo da caixa acústica pode ser ajustado
depoisde ela ser instalada na parede.
• Pendure o suporte para instalação em parede, com acaixa acústica, nos
parafusosna parede.
• Prenda o emblema de grade da Polk Audio. A posiçãodo emblema muda
dependendode a caixa acústica ser usada como canal centralou como
canalesquerdo/direito montado verticalmente.
