Change the print settings as necessary:

From your software program’s File menu, select
Print
.
You
will see a dialog box similar to the one below.

Click the
Properties
button. The HP OfficeJet Pro 1170C
Series print setup dialog box is displayed.

Here is where you specify Paper Size, Paper Type, and Print
Quality for the file you are printing. Make necessary
adjustments, then click
OK
to return to the Print dialog.
NOTE
The settings you change here remain in effect while you are using the current
program. To make your changes permanent, make them in the Control Panel
Printers folder.
