Follow these steps to override the Ink Level Gauge:
if you installed a black ink cartridge
1.
Press and hold down the Power button.
2.
While holding down the Power button:
•Press the Cancel button twelve times
•Press the Resume button once.
3.
Release the Power button.
if you installed a tri-color ink cartridge
1.
Press and hold down the Power button.
2.
While holding down the Power button:
•Press the Cancel button twelve times.
•Press the Resume button three times.
3.
Release the Power button.
Always install an ink cartridge before performing an Ink Level Gauge
override.
