New features of the MPrint MW-120
The MPrint MW-120 is ideal for printing from your own
customized software. In addition to the standard features
found on the MPrint range, the MW-120 has the additional
three features:
■ Character (font/text) generation is built into the MW-
120 hardware. No complicated bitmap image data
needs to be rendered.
■ Brother’s own printer commands, based upon the
Epson ESC/P emulation are included. Simply send the
required escape sequences to change font size, font
style, print position etc.
■ In addition to the IrDA and USB interfaces found on
some of the other printers in the MPrint range, the
MW-120 has an RS-232C Serial interface to provide
the widest compatibility of connections.
Please note:
The style of serial connector used is of a
special type. Brother can provide a
special cable to convert this connector to
a standard D-sub, 9 pin serial connector.
