Editing the Scan Mode Settings

The scan mode definitions provide pixel depth and halftone

values used to scan your image. Epson TWAIN allows you to

modify or delete existing definitions or create your own

definitions to suit your needs.

Select Scan Mode from the Edit pull down menu. You see the

Scan Mode screen:

To Add a Scan Mode

Rather than modifying the Epson-supplied scan modes, you

will probably want to create your own definitions. Follow these

steps to add a scan mode:

1.

Select a scan mode similar to the mode you want to define.

2.

Type the name you want to assign to your scan mode over the

name displayed in the Scan Mode Name dialog box.
