Covering Empty Slots
Ensure that all cards, faceplates, and covers are in place. Filler motherboards and filler modules and
cover panels are used to:
• Prevent exposure to hazardous voltages and currents inside the chassis
• Help contain EMI that might disrupt other equipment
• Direct the flow of cooling air through the chassis
• Protect the backplane from dust
Disposing of the System
Dispose of the system and its components (including batteries) as specified by all national laws and
regulations.
