What does 888 888 mean on the reading of the thermostat, than says LO

5 Try changing your batteries if you haven't already. More than likely it sounds like there may have been a power failure with your thermostat. Also, on the back side of your thermostat there should be a green panel, there should be a reset button. Usually it is white. It's sometimes hard to find cause it's small. So reset it and change batteries. If there is no reset you can find, look on the front side, there may be one inside a small hole you have to stick like a small wire into to press and reset it.
