The batteries died; just changing the batteries didn't work. So I followed instructions for our Honeywell manual that said to put batteries in backward for over 5 seconds then put them in the right way. The thermostat turned back on but keeps flashing between the time and the current temp in house (I don't remember if it used to do that). AC has not come back on and it's over 30 minutes.
