Question About White Rodgers Thermostat 1F89-11
Help reading thermostat...

There is small "star" shape below the temperature setting on my 1F89-211 model thermostat. What does that mean? When I replace the batteries in the thermostat unit, do I have to turn it off for a period of time? When I do this does it automatically reset?
