5. Ground the water heater by connecting the
grounding wire from the electrical service ground to
the (green) ground screw located in the junction
box. Note: Only use 10 gauge wires for electrical
connections and a 30 ampere double pole breaker.
6. Connect the red and black wires to the incoming
power leads.
7. Replace cover and secure with screws.
