HOW THE SUNBEAM HEPA 2500
AIR CLEANER WORKS
The air around you is filled with thousands of particles
of air pollution. Some of the pollutants (dust, smoke
and lint) are visible to the naked eye, but most of the
pollutants (pollen and bacteria, to name a few) are
microscopic in size.

ensuring a 99.97% efficiency at removing common
indoor air particles. Do not remove this label unless
replacing the HEPA or Charcoal Filter.
NOTE: DO NOT USE AN EXTENSION CORD TO
SUPPLY POWER TO YOUR AIR CLEANER.
As polluted air is drawn into your console air cleaner
(Figure
1),
an Aluminum Pre-Filter strains out the
larger particles of pollution. The air then passes
through the cartridge air filter (HEPA Filter) where
microscopic particles are collected.
Your console air cleaner can be placed almost any-
,
where as long as the air can freely circulate into the top
front grill and out of the bottom front grill. (Figure 1)
The now cleaned air then passes through a filter of
activated carbon. Activated carbon acts like a sponge
to help remove odors. (Figure 2) Having been cleaned
three ways, the air returns to the room through the
bottom front grill. (Figure 1)
