MOUNTING THE
DETECTOR
To ensure the siren detector de-
tects the smoke alarm when it
sounds, mount the detector 4–6
inches from a UL-approved smoke
alarm (Cat. No. 49-466).
Follow these steps to mount the de-
tector.
