Philips RU125 Home Security System User Manual

PUNCH-THROUGH SOUND
Punch-through sound enables you to control the audio level of
your TV, regardless of what device mode the remote control is in.
POWER/DIGIT TOGGLE
Even when your TV can be activated by using a digit key only
(e.g. digit number 1) instead of using the power key, you need
to install the "Power/Digit Toggle" function. After you installed
this function, the power key will send out the "power on/off"
code, the first time you press the "power" key and the "digit
1" code when you press the "power" key for the second time.
In this way it is possible to activate your TV even when it
responds to digit codes only. To install this "Power/Digit
Toggle" function, follow the following procedure:
1 Look up the "Power/Digit toggle" code in the code list
(centre of this manual).
2 Make sure the remote control is in the TV mode.
3 Press and hold power and mute keys simultaneously – for
about three seconds – until the green LED lights up.
(Release the keys: the green LED should stay on).
4 Enter the 6 digit "Power toggle" code within 30 seconds.
– The green LED flashes twice.
Follow the same procedure to cancel the "Power/Digit toggle"
function.
