Cleaning.
Cleaning Times
Proper care and cleaning of the air purifier is critical to performance. The following chart
shows the cleaning intervals and methods.

will not run if the
top cover and grill are
not closed securely.

Cleaning the unit w
hile it is plugged in may result in electric shock, electric spark and
serious injury. Unplug the unit before cleaning or maintenance. Remo
ve the unit from the
wall if it is wall mounted.
Cleaning the Pre-Filter
Unplug the air purif
ier.
Remo
ve the top cover by sliding forward and lifting off.
Pull the pre-f
ilter straight up and out of the cabinet.
Thoroughl
y rinse the pre-filter and let it air dry before placing it back in the
cabinet. Do not use heated or compressed air as par
t of the dr
ying process.
Place the pre-f
ilter back into the unit b
y sliding it straight down into the slots.
Place the top co
v
er back on the cabinet, sliding back to lock into place.

Cabinet As needed Wipe with damp cloth first. If required,
follow with mild non-abrasive cleaner.
Collector Cell 2 to 4 weeks, Spray Oreck Assail-a-Cell
®
cleaner or soak
or as needed in warm water with mild liquid detergent.
Rinse and dry thoroughly.
Pre-filter 2 to 4 weeks, Rinse thoroughly in warm water.

Odor 12 months, Replace (optional for odor removal). Do not
Absorber or as needed wash or get wet. Vacuum to clean, if necessary.
Air Direction As needed Use the brush provided with the air purifier
Grill to brush away debris in between the slots.
Oxygenator As needed Vacuum the front with a soft brush attachment.
Do not use any liquids for cleaning.
