INTRODUCTION
To get the best out of your new appliance, please read
this user guide carefully before using it for the rst
time. Take particular note of the safety precautions.
We also recommend that you keep the instructions for
future reference, so that you can remind yourself of the
functions of your appliance.
SAFETY MEASURES
General
Incorrect use of this appliance may cause personal
injury and damage to the appliance.
Use for its intended purpose only. The manufacturer
is not responsible for any injury or damage resulting
from incorrect use or handling (see also Guarantee
Terms).
For domestic use only. Not for outdoor or
commercial use.
For connection to 230 V, 50 Hz ceiling socket only.
Turn off the appropriate fuse cluster or the HFI
relay to make sure power has been turned off in
the ceiling socket before tting the appliance. The
appliance is to be operated through the remote
control only and must NOT be tted to a wall
socket.
The ceiling where the fan is mounted must be able
to support a weight of at least 45 kg. Use long, solid
screws for tting the fan.
The appliance must be mounted so that the wings
are at least 2 metres above the oor.
Do not use in humid surroundings.
The appliance, cord or plug must not be placed in
water or any other liquid.
Never touch the appliance, cord or plug with wet or
damp hands.
Keep the appliance away from heat sources, hot
objects and open ame.
Never attempt to grab the wings of the fan while the
fan is running.
Children may only use the appliance under the
supervision of an adult.
Turn off the appliance and place the remote control
out of reach of children before cleaning.
Never attempt to open the motor section of the
appliance.
Check regularly that the appliance has not been
damaged and do not use the it if there is any
damage, or if it has been dropped on the oor,
dropped in water or damaged in any other way.
If the appliance has been damaged, it should
be inspected and if necessary repaired by an
authorised repair engineer. Never try to repair
the appliance yourself. Please contact the store
where you bought the appliance for repairs under
guarantee. Unauthorised repairs or modications to
the appliance will invalidate the guarantee.
