Recharging
Charge appliance fully before using for the rst time. This ensures maximum
battery capacity and long service life.
There are two methods of charging:
o Place appliance on charging station. Ensure charge contacts (9) are in
contact with those on the station (26). The signal indicator will stop blinking
when the appliance is correctly in place on the station.
o You can also disconnect the charging jack from the station and connect
it directly to the appliance charge jack (15) on the back of the appliance, just
under the handle (5).
The charging indicator on the back of the appliance will go red when the
appliance is correctly connected by one of these two methods.
The charging indicator on the adapter will be red as long as charging is in
progress. When the charging indicator goes green, the appliance is fully
charged.
USE
Place appliance in middle of the oor to vacuumed.
Switch on the on/off button (4). The indicator light in the button will come on.
The appliance will play a little melody and start automatically according to the
following programs:
o The appliance will work outwards in a spiral.
o If it comes into contact with a wall, it will follow the wall to map out the room.
o After while, it will begin to cross the room at different angles to cover the
entire oor.
If the bumper sensor (10) hits an object, the appliance will change direction.
When the battery is running low, the appliance will automatically go to the
charging station (if switched on).
If the appliance gets stuck, cannot reach the oor with all its wheels or senses
a steep drop, it will stop vacuuming and emit a three-toned alarm signal. This
indicates that it needs assistance, before normal vacuum cleaning can be
resumed.
IMPORTANT! If the suction strength of the appliance is reduced, the rotating
brush head may be blocked, lters may be blocked or dirty and the dust holder
may be full. Never use the appliance if this is the case, as this will damage the
motor irreparably. Remove the obstruction, clean the lters or empty the dust
holder (see Cleaning dust holder, lters and brush head below).
Remote control
The remote control (f) can be used to control all the appliance's functions. The
indicator (g) will come on when the remote control buttons are pressed. If the
indicator does not come on, change the battery in the remote (see Cleaning dust
holder, lters and brush head). Check remote control antenna (a) is fully extended to
achieve maximum range.
The power control button (j) switches between the two vacuum settings: The
appliance will always use the lowest setting by default.
Press "Stop" (h) on the remote control to stop vacuuming. You can manually
direct the appliance using the "Forward" (c), "Turn left" (d) and "Turn right" (i)
buttons.
Start vacuuming using the power control button whilst sending the appliance in
the direction you want.
Use the "Go to charge" (e) button to send the appliance back to the charging
station. The appliance will try to return to the station (if switched on) and start
recharging.
Return to automatic function using the "Return to automatic function" button (b).
The appliance will recommence vacuuming following its built-in programs.
Tips for vacuum cleaning
Always keep the oor free of obstructions such as cables, loose objects etc,
which can disrupt the appliance.
The appliance can be set to vacuum a large or small room (over or under 15 m2)
by pressing the "Room size" setting button (2). When the indicator in the button
is lit, the appliance is set to a small room.
You can lift and carry the appliance using the carrying handle. Never pull or lift
the appliance by the cord.
CLEANING DUST HOLDER, FILTERS AND BRUSH HEAD
IMPORTANT! If the suction strength of the appliance is reduced, the rotating brush
head may be blocked, lters may be blocked or dirty and the dust holder may
be full. Never use the appliance if this is the case, as this will damage the motor
irreparably. Remove the cause of the blockage; clean the lters or empty dust
holder.
Emptying the dust container and cleaning the lter
Switch appliance off.
Carefully lift dust holder out of the appliance and carry to waste bin.

means they can only be tted one way!
Replace holder in appliance.
Exhaust lter (3) is permanently mounted in the appliance just in front of the
handle. This will not normally not need replacement. The exhaust lter can
however be vacuum cleaned in place using an ordinary vacuum cleaner when
required. Contact the retailer or service workshop if the exhaust lter requires
replacement.

down.
2. Remove the four screws (11) using a
small Phillips screwdriver.
3. Remove cover.
4. Lift brush carefully by its upper right
hand end, where there is a small dark
plastic ring.
5. Carefully extract the left hand end
from the drive belt.
6. Clean bristles (see Cleaning dust
holder, lter and brush head below).
7. Carefully t left hand end of brush
(with cog wheel) into drive belt until it
clicks into place.
8. Press right hand end of brush into
place. Check it is pressed down as

Check screws are tight.

(23A, 12 V).
o Check plus pole faces terminal "VCC", and minus pole "GND".
o IMPORTANT! Incorrectly tted batteries can leak and damage the remote \
control!
o Check the button panels (l) are correctly located on the front (k). Replace
circuit board and back.
o Insert and tighten screws.
The built-in battery is placed in the battery compartment under a cover
(16). Contact the retailer or service workshop if the built-in battery requires
replacement.

Store in a cool dry place. Do not place heavy objects on top of the appliance.
NOTE: Remove the batteries from the remote control if the appliance is to be
stored for an extended period (several months).
CLEANING
Clean the apparatus by wiping it with a damp cloth. A little detergent can be
added if the appliance is heavily soiled.
Do not use any strong solvents or abrasives as they may damage the external
surfaces of the appliance.
Keep the rotating brush head, lter funnel and dust lter clean:
o Shake brush head, lter funnel and beat carefully to remove dust and dirt.
o An ordinary vacuum cleaner can be used.
o Funnel and dust lter can also be washed carefully in warm water.
o Check they are completely dry before replacing in the appliance. NEVER
insert a wet lter into the appliance.
o Replace brush head, funnel and dust lter with the same type when worn or
cannot be cleaned properly.
