REPLACING FILTERS AND DUST BAG
IMPORTANT! If the appliance loses suction power during use, the dust bag may
befull.Theltersmayalsoneedcleaningorreplacing.Werecommendthatthe
ltersarecleanedorreplacedafter4-6monthsofuseorasrequired.Neverusethe
applianceifthebagisfullorwithnoexhaust-ormotorlter.
• Motorlteranddustbagareinsidethe
appliance.
• Open the lid by pulling the opening button (1)
upwards and outwards.
Replacing the Motor Filter
Themotorlterprotectsthemotoragainstdustanddirt.Theappliancemustnotbe
usedifthereisnomotorltertted.
• Pullthemotorlterholder(21)outofthe
appliance.
• Cleanorreplacethelterpad(22)if
necessary (see section on Cleaning below).
• Replacethelterpadinthemotorlter
holder so that the dowels hold it in place.
• Fitthemotorlterinsidetheappliance
with the pad facing towards the motor (see
picture).
Replacing the Exhaust Filter
Usedtolterexhaustairfromtheappliance.Theappliancemustnotbeused
ifthereisnoexhaustltertted.Theexhaustlterinthisapplianceisahighly
effectiveparticlelter–aso-calledHEPAlter.
• Removetheexhaustlter(20)bypressingdownthereleasebuttonandpulling
thelterout.
• Removethelter(19)pad,replaceorcleanasdescribedunderCleaningbelow.
• Replacethelterinitsholder.
• Fitthelterholderintheexhaustport(4).Checkthesmalldowelstintothe
holes in the appliance and that it locks into place with a click.
Replacing Dust Bag
• Pull the dust bag holder (12) out of the
appliance.
• Replace the bag if full.
• Fit new bag in holder, ensuring it is locked
into place by the dowels.
• Fit dust bag holder in appliance (see picture).
STORAGE
• Before putting the appliance away, rewind the cord. Switch off at the socket,
unplug, and press the automatic cord rewind button (18) until the cord is fully
rewound.
oHoldtheplugrmlywhilereelingthecordintoavoidithittingtheappliance
or other nearby objects.
• Store in a dry place. Do not place heavy objects on top of the appliance.
• Youcanparktheoornozzleinoneoftheparkingbrackets(onthebackand
underside of the appliance).
• NOTE: Remove the batteries from the handle if the appliance is to be stored for
an extended period.
CLEANING
• Clean the appliance by wiping it with a damp cloth. A little detergent can be
added if the appliance is heavily soiled.
• Never use a scouring pad, steel wool or any form of strong solvents or abrasive
cleaning agents to clean the appliance, as those may damage the outside
surfaces of the appliance.
• Makesureallltersarekeptclean(seeReplacingltersanddustbagabove).
oShaketheexhaustlterandlterpadonmotorlterandbeatthemcarefully
to remove dust and dirt.
oExhaustlterandlterpadonmotorltercanbewashedcarefullyinwarm
water.
o Check they are completely dry before replacing in the appliance. NEVER
insertawetlterintotheappliance.
oReplaceexhaustlterandmotorlterpadwiththesametypewhenwornor
cannot be cleaned properly.

• if the above instructions are not followed
• if the appliance has been interfered with
