Replacing Dust Bag
Never use the appliance if the dust bag is full or with no dust bag at all.
Open the lid of the appliance by pressing the opening
button placed directly under the lid. Activate button
by pressing upwards towards lid.
Open the lid until it locks into place.
Pull out the dust bag holder (e) so the dust bag (f) is
released.
Carefully remove the dust bag from the tube nozzle
(g).
Place bag carefully in refuse bin. Make sure that there
are no holes in it. Do not fold or press the bag.
Attach a new dust bag to the tube nozzle (see top
photograph). Check that the dust bag is positioned
so that the arrow on the cardboard piece points
down.
Push the dust bag holder into place. Insert the
cardboard piece into the guides on the holder (see
middle photograph), slide the holder behind the lip
of the tube nozzle, and push holder down as far as it
will go. Check that the dust bag is securely attached
(see bottom photograph).
Close the lid and ensure it clicks into place.
STORAGE
Before putting the appliance away, rewind the cord. Turn off the power, take out
the plug and wind the cord round the groove (2) on the lid.
Store in a cool dry place. Do not place heavy objects on top of the appliance.
Squeeze the cord into one of the small notches along the lid to ensure it does
not unwind when stored.
CLEANING
Clean the appliance by wiping it with a cloth wrung in tepid water. A little
detergent can be added if the appliance is heavily soiled.
Do not use scouring pads or any form of strong solvents or abrasive cleaning
agents as they could damage the outside of the appliance.
Always ensure to keep both lters clean (refer to Replacing lters and dust bag
above).
o Shake and beat the lters carefully to remove dust and dirt.
o Filters can be carefully washed in tepid water.
o Check they are completely dry before replacing in the appliance. NEVER
insert a wet lter into the appliance.
Replace lters with the same type when worn or cannot be cleaned properly.
