Refer to Page 5, Figure 3 for allowable finishing materi-
als and clearances to combustibles.
All joints, top, bottom and sides, where the wall or
decorative facing material meets the firebox surround
must be completely sealed with a noncombustible
material. (Figs. 11-14)
NOTE: Do not install combustible materials on any
of the black fireplace surround.
Hearth Extension
A hearth extension may be used but is not required for
these fireboxes.
A raised hearth extension may be used as shown in
Figure 15.
