INSTRUCTIONS
AUTO SAFETY SHUT-OFF WITH CERAMIC
CONTROL
This heater is equipped with a patented, technologically-
advanced, safety system that requires the user to reset the
heater if there is a potential overheat situation. When a
potential overheat temperature is reached, the system will
automatically shut the heater off. It can only resume
operation when the user resets the unit.
To Reset the Heater:
1. Turn MODE to OFF and THERMOSTAT to HI.
2. Unplug unit, wait 30 minutes.
3. Plug in and turn ON.

PRE-OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Carefully remove your heater from the box. (Please
save the carton for off-season storage.)
2. Make sure the unit is in the OFF position before
plugging the heater into the outlet.
3. Place heater on firm level surface.
4. Avoid overloading your circuit by not using other high
wattage appliances in the same outlet. At 1500 Watts,
this unit draws 12.5 Amps.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. For heater operation, please set the Thermostat all the
way to HI (see Figure 1 and Figure 2).
2. Turn the Selector Control to desired heat setting (LOW
for 750W or HI for 1500W) (see Figure 2).
3. The Power Light will remain lit during operation.
OSCILLATING INSTRUCTIONS
Prior to turning "on" the oscillation switch, set the Selector
Control knob to the desired comfort setting (HI ( ) or
LO ( )). To stop oscillation, turn the oscillation switch to
"off ( )" (see Figure 2). Please do not manually turn
the unit. The unit is designed to turn only by motorized
oscillation.
THERMOSTAT INSTRUCTIONS
Setting the Thermostat
1. Prior to setting the thermostat, steps 1 & 2 of the
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS must be completed to allow
the heater to operate and warm up the room/area.
2. When the desired temperature/comfort level is
reached, lower the thermostat setting until the
fan/heater stops operating.
3. The Temperature light will turn on and remain lit when
the pre-set temperature is reached.
4. The control will now automatically maintain the pre-set
temperature level by turning the heater ON and OFF.
The thermostat is now set.

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric
shock, and injury to persons, including the following:
1. Read all instructions before using the appliance.
2. To avoid fire or shock hazard, plug the appliance
directly into a 120V AC electrical outlet.
3. The heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, DO NOT
let bare skin touch hot surfaces. If provided, use
handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible
materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers,
clothes, and curtains at least 3 ft (0.9 m) from the front
of the heater and keep them away from the sides and
rear.
4. DO NOT run cord under carpeting. DO NOT cover cord
with throw rugs, runners, or the like. Arrange cord
away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped
over.
5. This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms,
laundry areas and similar indoor location. NEVER locate
heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water
container.
6. Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used
by, or near children or invalids, and whenever the
heater is left operating and unattended.
7. Always unplug the heater when not in use.
8. When unplugging, be sure to pull by the plug and not
the cord.
9. DO NOT insert or allow foreign objects to enter any
ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an
electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
10. DO NOT operate heater with a damaged cord or plug, or
after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or
damaged in any manner. Return appliance to
manufacturer for examination, electrical or mechanical
adjustment, or repair.
11. A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. DO
NOT use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable
liquids are used or stored.
12. Use appliance only for intended household use as
described in this manual. Any other use not
recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire,
electric shock, or injury to persons. The use of
attachments not recommended or sold by JCS/THG, LLC
may cause hazards.
13. DO NOT use outdoors.
14. To prevent a possible fire, DO NOT block air intakes or
exhaust in any manner. DO NOT use on soft surfaces,
like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
15. To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove
plug from outlet.
16. Avoid the use of an extension cord because the
extension cord may overheat and cause a risk of fire.
However, if you have to use an extension cord, the cord
shall be No. 14 AWG minimum size and rated not less
than 1875 watts.
17. If the heater will not operate, see specific instructions on
Auto Safety Shut-off.
THIS PRODUCT IS EQUIPPED WITH A POLARIZED PLUG (a plug having one blade wider
than the other). This plug will fit into the power outlet only one way. If the plug does not
fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact qualified personnel
to install the proper outlet.

POLARIZED PLUG IN ANY WAY
NOTE: It is normal for the heater to cycle ON and OFF as it
maintains the preset temperature. To prevent the unit from
cycling, you need to raise the thermostat setting.
CLEANING/MAINTENANCE
Removable Dust Prefilter:
1. Every few weeks check the condition of the prefilter on
the rear of the heater.
2. Remove the inlet grill and remove the prefilter and
wash it in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry the filter
before replacing.
During Season Care:
1. Always unplug the heater before cleaning.
2. Clean the unit with a soft cloth moistened with a mild
soap solution.
3. NEVER use abrasive or flammable solvents to clean the
unit.
4. After cleaning, be sure to completely dry the unit with a
cloth or towel.
After Season Care:
1. Store heater in a cool, dry location.
2. The manufacturer recommends that you store the unit
in its original carton.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If your heater fails to operate:
• UNPLUG THE UNIT
• Make sure the electrical outlet or circuit breaker is
working.
• Check for obstructions. If you find an obstruction turn
the heater OFF, and unplug the unit. Carefully remove
the obstruction and follow the reset instructions.

Debe tomar precauciones básicas de seguridad siempre que

DE SEGURIDAD
APAGADO AUTOMATICO DE SEGURIDAD
CON CONTROL CERAMICO
Este calefactor está equipado con un sistema de seguridad
patentado, de tecnología avanzada que requiere que el
usuario reinicie el calefactor en caso de un
sobrecalentamiento potencial. Cuando se alcanza una
temperatura de recalentamiento potencial, el sistema
apagará automáticamente el calefactor. Volverá a funcionar
únicamente luego de que el usuario reinicie la unidad.
Para volver a prender el calefactor:
1. Gire la perilla del Modo (MODE) a la possicion Apagado
(OFF) y el Termostato (THERMOSTAT) a Alta (HI).
2. Desenchufe la unidad y espere 30 minutos.
3. Enchufe y vuelva a encender.

INSTRUCCIONES PREVIAS AL USO
1. Saque cuidadosamente el calefactor de la caja.
(Conserve la caja para guardarlo en el verano).

3. Coloque el calefactor en una superficie firma y nivelada.
4. Evite sobrecargar el circuito eléctrico evitando utilizar
otro aparato de alta potencia en el mismo
tomacorriente. A 1500 Vatios, esta unidad consume
12,5 Amperes.
INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO
1. Para operar el calefactor, lleve el control del termostato
hasta su límite, hasta alcanzar la posición HI. (Ver Figura 1
y Figura 2).
2. Gire el selector de control a la posición de calor deseado
(LOW para 750 W o HI para 1500 W) (vea la Figura 2).
3. La luz piloto permanecerá encendida durante el
funcionamiento.
INSTRUCCIONES PARA LA OSCILACION
Antes de mover el interruptor a la posición ON, gire la
perilla selectora a la posición de confort deseado Alto o Bajo
(HI ( ) o LOW ( )). Para detener la oscilación, mueva
el interruptor de oscilación a la posición “off ( )” (vea
la Figura 2). No gire manualmente la unidad, la misma está
diseñada para oscilar únicamente por medio motorizado.
INSTRUCCIONES PARA EL MANEJO DEL
TERMOSTATO
Calibrado del termostato
1. Antes de calibrar el termostato, deberán completarse los
pasos 1 y 2 de las INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO,
a fin de permitir el funcionamiento del calefactor para
el calentamiento de la habitación /zona.
2. Una vez alcanzada la temperatura del nivel de confort,
reduzca el calibrado del termostato de la unidad hasta
que se detenga el ventilador del calefactor.
3. La luz piloto se prenderá una vez que se alcance el
calibrado de la temperatura.
4. El control se mantendrá ahora dentro del nivel
precalibrado, determinando el arranque y detención
(ON y OFF) del calefactor. El termostato quedará ahora
calibrado.
NOTA: Será normal el ciclo del calefactor entre las
posiciones de arranque y detención (ON y OFF) a fin de
mantener la temperatura seleccionada. Para suspender el
ciclado de la unidad, deberá usted elevar el ciclo del termostato.
LIMPIEZA / MANTENIMIENTO
Filtro de entrada removible:
1. Revise el estado del filtro de entrada ubicado en la
parte posterior del calefactor luego de algunas semanas
de uso.
2. Quite la rejilla de entrada y quite el filtro, lávelo con
agua tibia jabonosa. Enjuague y seque el filtro antes de
volverlo a instalar.
Durante la temporada:
1. Siempre desenchufe el calefactor antes de limpiarlo.
2. Limpie la unidad con un trapo suave humedecido con
agua y detergente.
3. NUNCA utilice solventes abrasivos o inflamables para
limpiar la unidad.
4. Después de limpiarla, asegúrese de secar completamente
la unidad con un trapo o toalla.
Después de la temporada:
1. Guarde el calefactor en un lugar frío y seco.
2. El fabricante recomienda guardar la unidad en su caja original.
DIAGNOSTICO DE PROBLEMAS
Si su calefactor no funciona:
• DESENCHUFE LA UNIDAD
• Asegúrese de que el tomacorriente o llave térmica
funcionen correctamente.
•Verifique que no haya ninguna obstrucción. Si
encuentra una obstrucción, apague el calefactor, y
DESENCHUFELO. Quite cuidadosamente la obstrucción y
siga el procedimiento para reiniciar la unidad.
NO intente abrir o reparar el calefactor. Por favor,
vea la garantía para las instrucciones de reparación o
llame al servicio del consumidor al 1-800-5-HOLMES.
INSTRUCCIONES
ESTE APARATO TIENE UN ENCHUFE POLARIZADO PARA CA (corriente alterna) con una
clavija más ancha que la otra y que entra completamente en un tomacorriente polarizado en
una sola posición. De no ser así, inviértalo, y si aún así no entra completamente, llame a
