Installation
Selection of installation location
Put the portable air conditioner in a fl at location where the air
outlets cannot be covered up, place the unit no less than 20 in.
(50 cm) away from a wall or other obstacle.

Mounting the intake and exhaust hoses
1) Fit one end of the exhaust hose to the exhaust terminal of
the unit then rotate it 2 - 3 revolutions to tighten the hose into
the terminal.
2) Put the other end (discharge) to the nearest window.
3) Install the intake hose in the same manner
Note: The length of the air intake and exhaust hoses are be-
tween 24" - 72". Try to keep the hose as straight and horizontal
as possible.

Instructions to install hose
If the hose becomes disconnected from the hose fi tting it must be
reinserted. Fit the hose to the hose fi tting then rotate it 2-3 revolu-
tions to tighten the hose into the fi tting. See fi gure below:

(If mounting in the wall, the height of the hole should be 16" - 51")
