PROBLEM SOLVING
This appliance was inspected thoroughly and was in good operating condition when it
was shipped from the factory. If a minor problem occurs, it usually can be solved quite
easily when the cause is found. Therefore, this checklist is provided for your
convenience.

Changing the Headlight
WARNING: To reduce the risk of electric
shock, the power cord must be
disconnected before performing
maintenance/trouble shooting checks.
Occasionally the headlight will require
changing.
1. Turn the vacuum off and unplug from
the electrical outlet.
2. With a flathead screw driver, insert the
end of the screwdriver into the two
slots on top of the headlight lens and
gently pull down. (Fig. 60)

3. Lift out the headlight lens.
4. Remove the light bulb by pulling it out
carefully.
5. Replace the new bulb by pushing it in.
6. To replace the headlight lens, insert
the bottom tabs of the lens into the
holding slots and snap the top back
into place to secure.
TROUBLESHOOTINGMESURES DE PRÉCAUTION
Important:
1. N’utilisez pas l’aspirateur trop près
des chaufferettes ou des
radiateurs.
2. Avant d’insérer la fiche électrique
dans la prise murale, assurez-vous
d’avoir les mains sèches.
3. Ne nettoyez rien de liquide avec
l’aspirateur.
4. Éloignez les cheveux, les
vêtements amples, les doigts, les
pieds et toute partie du corps des
ouvertures, du rouleau des
brosses rotatives et de toutes
autres pièces mobiles.
5. Lorsque vous tirez la fiche
électrique de la prise murale, tirez
la fiche et non le cordon
d’alimentation.
6. Ne pas se servir de l’appareil pour
ramasser quelque chose qui brûle
ou qui fume comme des cigarettes,
des allumettes ou de la cendre
encore chaude.
7. Ne PAS passer l’aspirateur sur le
cordon d’alimentation.
8. Ne pas utiliser sans le bac à
poussière, le collecteur cyclone ou
TOUS les filtres en place.
9. Avant de commencer à passer
l’aspirateur, assurez-vous d’enlever
les gros objets ou les objets pointus
qui pourraient endommager
l’aspirateur.
Si les conduits d’air dans l’unité, le tuyau ou le tube d’extension bloquent,
éteignez l’aspirateur et enlevez la substance qui bloque avant de
remettre en marche l’unité .
