CAUTION- We recommend using Bemis by Essick Air Bacteria Treatment whenever
you refill the reservoir to eliminate bacteria growth. Follow the directions to deter-
mine the proper amount to be added to the 1 gallon reservoir.
The wick does not r
equire the use of chelating agent type water treatments that are
intended for use in Rotobelt or Water Wheel type humidifiers.
Locate your humidifier on an inside wall, near an electrical outlet. The humidifier
should be at least 4" away from the wall for best results. Do not position the unit
directly in front of a hot air duct or radiator. We suggest placing the unit on a table
or on a bookshelf.
Assembly & Operation
1) Unpack humidifier from carton.
2) Lift off the “cover/chassis” unit from the cabinet. Remove any packaging material
from the inside of the cabinet. The evaporative wick (only one) should remain in
place, positioned within the two pair of locating ribs
inside of the cabinet. (See illustration.)
3) Place the humidifier “cabinet” with evaporative wick at
the location where the product will be operated. Fill the
“cabinet” reservoir with cool, fresh, preferably unsoftened
water to the top of the rear handle shelf. If only softened
water is available, it can be used, however you will notice
a build up of minerals on the evaporative wick much sooner.
A fill level is indicated. Reservoir capacity is one gallon.
Do not overfill. If you carry the filled cabinet, tip the
evaporative wick side up slightly to avoid spillage.
DO NOT POUR WATER INTO THE TOP GRILLE ONTO THE
FAN MOTOR. ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS MUST BE
KEPT DRY.
4) In the course of daily operation, we recommend emptying any remaining water in the
reservoir, rinsing the humidifier reservoir, and wiping it clean prior to adding fresh water.
5) Place the cover/chassis unit onto the cabinet. Align the cord exit with the slot in the
rear of the cabinet. The cover should fit snug over the edges of the bottom.
6) We recommend using Bemis by Essick Air Bacteria Treatment whenever you refill
the humidifier reservoir to eliminate bacterial growth. Add bacteriostat according
to the instructions on the bottle.
7) Plug cord into wall receptacle.
8) Turn humidifier on.

9) Model 926 000 is equipped with a two speed fan control switch. Use the low
setting for quiet operation and the high speed for maximum output.
