9 Connect the door arm to the trolley
Installation will varyaccording to the garage door type.Follow the instructions which applyto your door.
IMPORTANT: The groove on the straightdoor arm MUSTface awayfromthe curved door arm (Figure 1).
OPTION A ONE-PIECE DOORS
9.1A Close the door.Disconnectthe trolley
bypulling the emergencyrelease
handle.
9.2A Fasten the straight door armand the
curved door armtogether to the
longestpossible length (with a 2or 3
hole overlap) using the bolts (H15),
nuts(H20) and lockwashers(H21).
9.3A Attach the straightdoor armto the door
bracketusing the clevispin (H13).
Secure with the ring fastener (H19).
9.4A Attach the curved door armto the
trolleyusing the clevispin (H14).
Secure with the ring fastener (H19).
9.5A Pull the emergencyrelease handle
toward the garage door opener until
the trolley release armishorizontal.
